Team Leicestershire’s march on MIPIM 2016

Flying out to France next week for the leading international property market MIPIM, Smallman & Son joins over twenty Leicester firms and organisations making up Team Leicestershire for 2016.

We’re thrilled that this year’s Team Leicestershire includes a delegation from Leicester’s Tigers Rugby Club which will certainly put Leicestershire in the spotlight, helping us all win business and attract investment. Collectively, Leicester, Derby and Nottingham cities are promoting the East Midlands as one of the top ten UK regions with the most potential for new business. Attending such a high profile construction industry event as part of the collaborative Team Leicestershire effort is very exciting for us as a Leicestershire firm.

Held in Cannes from 12-18 March, 2016 is the 27th MIPIM market event and showcases the greatest number of development projects and sources of capital worldwide. Over 21,000 delegates including architects, designers, construction companies, cities and investors are expected to attend from over 90 countries worldwide. MIPIM gathers together the most influential international players from every property sector you can imagine from office and residential, from retail to healthcare, from sports and logistics to industrial and housing.

So come on Team Leicestershire, let’s steal a march for the East Midlands at MIPIM!

“We’re looking forward to being part of Team Leicestershire at MIPIM this year. It’s our first time to MIPIM and we want to make sure it’s worthwhile. A lot of planning prior to the visit has been undertaken so as to ensure we get to meet the right prospective clients and also so that we have the maximum exposure at the event. As Head of Business Development I have a packed diary of 1-1 appointments for the week and I shall be attending numerous high profile events that will be taking place throughout MIPM week. We hope that this week in Cannes will give Smallman & Son an opportunity to forge many new relationships and build on the many existing ones we have established over the years”.
