• Project Name: Hallam Primary School Refurbishment
  • Brief Description: Refurbishment of four sets of boys and girls pupil toilets
  • Start date: July 2015
  • Completion Date: August 2015

This refurbishment project began with the stripping out all existing toilet cubicals and sanitary-ware. The Smallman & Son team then went on to create new door openings, completely re-plaster the area, lay new floor covering, construct new cubicles and fit all new sanitary-ware. We also carried out first and second fix electrical work before completing the project with full decoration and the installation of mirrors etc.

The work was carried out over a 7 week period, with the bulk of the work done whilst the school was closed over the summer holiday period.

Customer Feedback

On completion of this job, the Smallman team were rewarded with some very special feedback from those who benefited most from the work carried out.
Class teacher, Mrs Ryan forwarded the following letters with the accompanying note:

Dear Brian,
We asked the children of Alderman Richard Hallam Primary School what they thought of the new toilets and they decided to tell you personally.

Please find enclosed the lovely letters they have put together for you.

We hope it shows how much they appreciate your hard work.

Kind Regards
Keri Ryan (Mrs)
